It takes about forty seconds. We will be fussy about the photo, because the fussiness is what makes two photos comparable.

What happens

  1. You take the photo. We check the light, the angle and the distance while you do, and we ask again if any of them are off.
  2. We measure what the photo can support. Anything it cannot, we mark as not measured rather than estimate it.
  3. Nothing is compared yet. This one is your starting line. The second reading is where a change becomes something we can talk about.
